The most economical way to protect fire department connection inlets is with PLASTIC BREAK CAPS. Choose either the PAC, which uses an adjustable bar that threads onto any hose thread or the PBC2, which uses eye bolts to secure the cap via the inlet’s pin lugs. Both fit 2 1/2" inlets and are easily broken with a hydrant/spanner wrench. Red.
